Congratulations
to Tim Pendle on his latest international selection, this time for the World
Marathon Championships to be held in Tyn, Czech Republic on 20th and
21st September. Tim will be teaming up with Jon Simmons from Wey
Kayak Club for the Senior Mens K2 event over a distance of 30 km.
Tim
and John have been the GB Number 1 men’s marathon boat this year, winning both
early season selection races, taking 3rd place at the nationals and
having 2 outstanding performances at World Cup events in Berlin (Germany) and
Crestuma (Portugal).
We
wish them the best of luck for the World Championships.
